The World Premier of Charlie's War was inspiring! Many of the producers, cast and crew walked down the red carpet in vintage 40's clothing, (compli-ments of collector WSMV TV news anchor Demetria Kalodimos).
The cast includes: Olympia Dukakis, Lynn Redgrave, Diane Ladd, Bobbi Eakes, Ariel Blackwood, Maggie Jones, Ruby Guidara, David Alford, Isabella Steele, Natalia Duncan, Roger Allby, Christina Zorich, Hunter Hayes, Vernon Winfrey
Charlie's War was written by Christy L. Viviano and directed by David Abbott.
Charion contacted David Abbott, the director of Charlie's War, about the status of the movie. Abbott said, "We are working on a few needed edit changes, and the DVD will be ready for distribution on Charlie's War. They are currently considering a foreign distribution offer that has recently been made. So, it look like things are starting to happen for the film now."
"I am working on a new film that is an epic production... I hope to begin official pre-production this Fall, " he concluded. Based on his work on Charlie's War I think we have something else to look forward to.
